What do I need to measure when buying blackout curtains and blinds
Measuring blackout curtains is difficult as it depends if you're measuring for blackout eyelet curtains or blackout pencil pleat curtains. Please see our Ready Made Eyelet Curtains page for how to measure eyelet curtains or our Ready Made Pencil Pleat Curtains page for how to measure pencil pleat curtains.
For measuring roller blinds, you'll need to determine where you want to install the blinds and measure the width and height of the window frame. Next, add a few extra centimetres to the measurements to ensure a snug fit. If you plan to mount the roller blinds outside the window frame, measure the width and height of the area you want to cover. Double-check your measurements to ensure accuracy before placing your order.
