Job Description:

 JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION:  E-commerce Placement  
 
LOCATION:  Head Office, Derriaghy, Belfast. On occasion travel to other locations will be required for photo shoots etc.
 
HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week  
 
RESPONSIBLE TO: Department Managers  
 
MAIN DUTIES: 
Provide excellent customer service.
Accurately and efficiently prepare, assemble and issue internet orders to customers.
Establish and maintain administrative support to Head Office, ensuring a high level of quality and professionalism at all times    
 
KEY TASKS AND DUTIES            
         A successful candidate should be able to:  
 
  1. Provide excellent customer service – phone, email, live chat and processing online orders.
  2.  Prepare, check and package customer orders. Ensure efficient and accurate dispatch of customer orders. This is an active role which includes daily work within our Warehouse; picking and packing stock for online orders and inter-store transfers
  3. Maintain the Company’s You Are the Difference customer service experience, therefore maximising the sales potential of the company
  4. Locate stock items from company warehouse and stores
  5. Deal with enquiries via telephone, email and social media from our customers, stores and other Head Office departments.
  6. Liaise with the Company departments to ensure correct product information is available at all times for customers
  7. Deal with routine correspondence and queries in an appropriate manner.
  8. Production and Analysis of reports including daily order report, statistical feedback on social media posts/emails etc
  9. To maintain appropriate filing and record systems, including Courier records Maintain adequate levels of stationary for the Web Department
  10. To provide clerical and administrative support for all aspects of internet, marketing and stock management 
  11. Liaise with Store and Warehouse management regarding stock for customer orders
  12. Update information and other records as necessary on computer system including uploading photographs and product descriptions
  13. Liaise with third parties including Courier Companies
  14. Data input; update information and other records as necessary on computer system in line with data protection guidelines Take and distribute messages as necessary
  15. Ensure the efficient use of photocopier and fax machine
  16. Ensure office area is clean and tidy at all times
  17. Work in a dynamic and fast paced office
  18. Print and Post (Memos, posters etc.)
  19. Product reporting – Highlighting missing products and gather from the warehouse, collecting product information e.g. Dimensions   
  20. Website testing
Any other reasonable duties requested by management      
 
PERSONNEL SPECIFICATION  
 
ESSENTIAL   Relevant Experience:     
  • Must have studied or is currently studying towards a degree in Marketing or other relevant fields   
  • Experience and up to date knowledge of Adobe and Illustrator software
  • Experience of dealing with the general public
