Is Your Guest Room Ready?

31 March 2015

Guest room With Easter just round the corner and the prospect of having to entertain friends and family, while also preparing Easter Sunday dinner for a large group of people the last thing you should be worrying about is how to create the perfect guest room.

You don’t want just any old, easily forgettable guest room. You want one that will make your guests stop and take it all in for a few seconds/minutes. One that will make your friends and family feel right at home. Although if they decide to stay for more than the allotted night or two because your guest room is now so nice that they don’t want to leave, then we apologise in advance.

With guests rooms it’s easy to go for a solid white base and then add bold colours in the form of table lamps, wall art, cushions, throws and giftware. Why not try one of this seasons trending colours Duck Egg Blue.

We’ve used the Sherringham duck egg blue duvet set as the main focus of our guest room because of its fresh floral design which is perfect for spring. This Sherringham duvet set is also easy to pair with our crisp 300 thread count Egyptian cotton white sheets. If you would prefer to stay away from using white for your flat or fitted sheets you could pick out the natural tones of the flowers on the duvet set.

Now it’s time to complete the look with a few finishing touches. We’ve continued the duck egg blue theme with our Downton duck egg light shade. It offers a rich pleated design and we’ve picked out the natural tone of the flowers with our complementing 450g latte bath towels. Done.

It really is as easy as that.
