We’ve had hundreds of fantastic styles and colour ways run up just for you! All you have to do is pick your favourites and hang... and that’s the real beauty of eyelet curtains - they hang beautifully in neat folds every time, so you don’t need to be Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen to achieve a polished interior look!
The first thing is to decide whether you just want to freshen up a room or choose contrasting colours to give your room a whole new look - with over 100 styles and colour ways to choose from, it’s easy to find your perfect pair.

Colour is key. Neutral colour schemes are easy to update with almost any other colours – you can make a sophisticated statement with silvers and golds, or go all out spring with yellows, greens and vivid pinks. Floral combinations are perfect for this time of year and you can choose from anything simple spring motifs to big and bold.

Eyelet curtains are great for modern homes. They use less fabric than pinch pleated curtains but still hang beautifully into set folds. Eyelets are now available in lots of colours including burnished brass eyelets, black eyelets, matt nickel eyelets, bright chrome eyelets and more so you should be able to at least get a good match to your curtain pole or a colour to co ordinate with your fabric.

The big advantage with eyelet headed curtains that the curtain draws back into its neat folds well so it does not block out too much light. Tip If you have room, take your curtain pole around 40cm past the window reveal on each side – When the curtain is drawn back it is mostly covering the wall and not the window. This will also make the window appear bigger. Choosing the correct size of curtain eyelets should be your first consideration. Make sure that the eyelets are large enough to accommodate the curtain rods that you plan to use. If the eyelets are too small, it will be difficult to open and close the curtains. If the eyelets are too large, the curtains will not hang evenly. Choose eyelets that are one-and-a-half to two times the diameter of the curtain rod. The main advantage to eyelet curtains is that when you hang the curtains, or take them down to be cleaned (which generally is an easier job than with hooks anyway), you can simply slide the curtain on and off the pole and into its bracket easily and without any risk of damage to the curtain.
